The GT 17 is a mid-weight daily training shoe designed specifically to meet the demands of road running.

The key technology in the GT17 is the MBT tri-density cushioning system. Combined with a rocker outsole, our tri-density midsole creates a unique ride that smoothly transitions you through the gait cycle. Each piece of the midsole has a different density. The density in the heel is very soft, and becomes firmer as you move through the mid-foot and into the forefoot. This promotes a soft heel landing which will smoothly transition you through the rocker to a responsive and stable toe-off. The GT 17 additionally offers a flexible nylon shank embedded within the midsole. This co-molded flex shank is important because it keeps you secure within the shoe and stabilizes your foot during ground strike.
